Eager Learners

Some think that creativity is a unique quality reserved for only certain children. Others feel creativity is simply being able to draw well. Actually, creativity is a wonderful quality that we can nurture in all children. If a child is creative, he is able to express himself freely, represent his ideas in new ways, solve problems, and act in resourceful ways.

We encourage creativity by supporting our children in their discovery of new things, whether investigating rocks, plants or mud near the path of just dabbling in paint! This kind of creative freedom changes the way the child sees the world on a fundamental level. It is the divergent thinking that helps the child to see unusual things or relationships that others see only as ordinary and creates enthusiastic, eager learners.
